Pizzana was born in 2010 from a simple dream: to bring the soulful tradition of authentic wood-fired pizza to the heart of Dallas, TX. Our founder, Marco Delgado, spent years studying the ancient art of Neapolitan pizza-making before opening our first location on Preston Road.
What started as a small family kitchen has grown into a beloved Dallas institution — yet our recipe remains unchanged. Every pizzana we serve is made with the same love, the same imported San Marzano tomatoes, and the same hand-stretched dough that made our very first customer smile.

The First Oven Is Lit
Marco Delgado opens Pizzana's first location on Preston Road with a single wood-fired oven, six tables, and a dream. The first 50 pizzas sell out in four hours.
Dallas Best Pizza Award
Pizzana wins "Best Pizza in Dallas" from the Dallas Observer — just two years after opening. The line stretches around the block on weekends.
Expanding the Kitchen
We triple our kitchen capacity and add a dedicated pasta & salad bar to our menu. Our signature pizanna dough recipe is officially trademarked.
Delivery Goes Live
Pizzana launches in-house delivery to serve more of Dallas. Within the first month, we complete over 2,000 deliveries — far exceeding any expectation.
Catering & Events
We add a dedicated catering team for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Our mobile wood-fired oven becomes a Dallas event staple.
